How reviews work.
Parents share their own experiences.
Add a curriculum, book, or learning tool to your Pencilcase, then review it from that entry. Describe what worked, what was difficult, and the context that would help another parent. Reviews are personal experiences, not independent product testing or verified purchases.
Ratings need enough context.
Catalog pages show an overall average only after at least three eligible public reviews. Individual reviews use a five-point overall rating. A product without enough reviews has no displayed average; that does not mean it is a poor choice.
Privacy affects what others see.
Your sharing settings determine whether other families can see your profile, Pencilcase, and reviews. Private learner details are not included in public reviews. Changing your profile visibility can remove your content from public view.
Sponsored means paid placement.
Advertisements are labeled Sponsored. Placement matches subjects, countries, and curriculum grade ranges. Advertisers do not receive individual review histories or learner details, and payment does not improve a curriculum’s rating.
Help keep the catalog useful.
If a book or tool is missing, request its addition. Requests are reviewed before publication. You can report inappropriate community content for moderation.
