About this curriculum
Aesop’s Fables are timeless classics, and we are pleased to offer them in a format that makes them easily accessible to young children. The fables—forty-four in all—are divided among four volumes, and each one includes not just the fables themselves but also important vocabulary and additional pages of activities for children to complete. The stories themselves have a reading level that increases from 2.1 in Volume I to 4.3 in Volume IV. The activities are varied and engaging, and they provide children with opportunities to think about the stories in different ways.
