About this curriculum
Grades 9+ Sample Discovering Design with Biology is a laboratory-based high school biology course designed for homeschoolers. This course introduces students to the design and diversity of life, from cells and DNA to ecosystems. They study classification, biochemistry, cell structures, and processes like photosynthesis and reproduction. Students explore major life forms—bacteria, fungi, plants, animals—and examine biogeochemical cycles and ecosystems. The course also covers biotechnology and critiques aspects of modern evolutionary theory, emphasizing life’s design and adaptability.
