Independent Drawing Lessons from a Professional Illustrator! Building upon what they learned in  Drawing 1 , students continue to sharpen their drawing skills with Drawing 2 , our newest offering in the Drawing elective series. Following along with the guidance of a real-life illustrator from The Good and the Beautiful, students in grades 5 and up sketch and draw their way through the 13 fun, self-led lessons. Lessons cover intermediate drawing concepts such as light and shadow, more practice with 3D shapes, optical illusions, contrast, working with ink, texture, and composition. Each open-and-go lesson includes a Supplies List, a Tracing Warm-Up, the teaching of a new drawing concept, a Try It! section, guided step-by-step practice, and a short, fun quiz. When the course is complete, students can place the sticker in the back of the book in their My   Electives Badge Book .
