About this curriculum

Friendly Phonics is designed to be used in the classroom with teacher and audio support. The engaging Letterland characters introduce the Aa-Zz shapes and sounds through stories, songs, chants and play. Each book contains 15 units of learning, and every unit guides children on how to blend and segment sounds to read and spell words. There are integrated readers in every unit that can be pulled out and read in class or taken home, as well as regular review lessons to monitor progress.
