From basic through advanced grammar concepts, the Yellow Workbook provides clear definitions of rules, repeated examples, and plenty of practice. Step-by-step instructions and regular review help every student succeed. This workbook, along with the corresponding Answer Key and the required Core Instructor Text , make up Grammar for the Well-Trained Mind : a complete course that takes students from basic definitions through advanced sentence structure and analysis – all the grammar skills needed to write and speak with eloquence and confidence, with the regular review needed for mastery. There are four Workbooks; they are non-sequential and do not need to be done in a particular order. Each Workbook contains the same rules and examples – but each has completely different sets of exercises and assignments, allowing students to develop a wide-ranging knowledge of how the rules and examples are put to use in writing. This repetition solidifies the concepts, definitions, and examples in the student's mind.
