Porcupines

About this curriculum

Porcupines roam through many forests in North America. With the 7 reading exercises, students will learn about the North American porcupine, porcupine's quills, enemies, porcupine legends, how they climb, their food, and family while they develop their skills in classifying, noting and recalling detail, drawing conclusions and finding proof. An additional 18 cross-curricular activities in creative writing, phonics, word study, and research plus teaching suggestions, a list of vocabulary and fiction and non-fiction books make this a thorough teaching and learning resource.
