Precalculus Lesson Plans

United StatesFaith-basedtextbook

About this curriculum

These lesson plans (available in physical or digital format) correspond to Precalculus by Larson & Hostetler, 7th Edition, Houghton Mifflin, 2007 (ISBN: 9780618643448). This text is currently out of print and not available on our website, but you may be able to find it somewhere else online. The purpose of precalculus is to both revisit complex algebraic topics and introduce several advanced topics in analytical geometry to prepare the student for calculus. To this end we recommend the seventh edition of Larson and Hostetler’s precalculus textbook. Having completed this text, you can claim a full-year high school math credit for precalculus, and your student will be ready to complete AP Calculus AB (if desired). Take this course with a master teacher in a live online class.
