About this curriculum

The 300-level Berean Discovering Design with Chemistry course explores the theoretical and mathematical foundations of chemistry, following a learning sequence similar to biology. Engaging experiments reinforce key concepts such as mass, density, volume, and ratios, helping students grasp universal formulas through hands-on learning. The course includes a textbook, solutions and tests manual, Sonlight Chemistry Schedule Plus , and a Chemistry Supplies Kit . Completing the accompanying experiments provides students with a rigorous, upper-level high school science experience with lab work. Note: Students who have not completed Algebra 1 may find the calculations challenging.
