Treasures Poetry
About this curriculum
Inspire your students in their Christian walk through devotional poetry! In the poem “Treasures,” Martha Snell Nicholson shares the truth she learned that “God could not pour His riches into hands already full.” In “His Plan for Me,” she considers God’s plans for her life and yields her remaining years to God. Though an invalid most of her life, Martha Snell Nicholson was used of God to inspire many through her poetry. During her life, she wrote hundreds of poems of praise and encouragement that your students will find spiritually uplifting. The poems were originally printed in the publications of early radio broadcasters such as The Haven of Rest and The Old-Fashioned Revival Hour and then collected and published by Moody Press in 1952. Abeka is pleased to bring 46 of these treasures back into print in this excellent resource for speech class (gr. 11–12) or other performance venues. Spiral-bound.
