About this curriculum

Teacher Edition Overview This Oak Meadow teacher edition is designed for teachers and parents who are supporting independent learners taking the high school course World Literature: Africa and Beyond. This course explores the topics of home and exile in three books that focus on Africa. This book should not be used by students as it will impede the learning process. The teacher edition includes all of the material in the student coursebook as well as specific answers to questions guidance on assessing student work ways to track student progress and information on evaluating student responses to open-ended assignments. This means teachers and parents will no longer have to refer to the student coursebook to see the full lesson content. Please note: This course touches on social issues politics and other challenging topics that can be complicated to navigate. While most high school students are able to process this material successfully if you feel your student may be more sensitive or find the material too intense you are encouraged to have your student skip problematic passages or provide alternate readings and assignments…
