About this curriculum

Continuing to reenforce the cursive foundation laid in earlier grades,  Writing with Creativity 6  provides formal and creative writing instruction supported by penmanship practice. Weekly optional cursive assessments include fascinating informative features about creative people and art forms throughout history. Writing skills are developed by applying the writing process through a variety of themed assignments that build research skills, organize thoughts with graphic organizers, and equip students to write multi-paragraph essays and narratives. Students develop creativity through projects such as narratives, poetry, media literacy, and more, and they employ both critical thinking and biblical worldview through a focus on the Fruit of the Spirit.
