We found a useful place for Collins 11+ - 11+ Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English & Maths Practice Papers when we wanted a change of pace. It helped with building a little more independence. We would use it again alongside the resources we already enjoy.
We found a useful place for Black Death: Unit on the days we learned together. It helped with noticing progress a little at a time. It worked best when we kept sessions short and consistent.
We found a useful place for Addition Build Their Skills during a shorter school week. It helped with making room for more than one way to solve a problem. We liked having a resource to return to instead of starting from scratch.
We found a useful place for 2 Letter Word Families ! in a small learning space. It helped with balancing practice with books we enjoy. We made room for extra discussion rather than trying to finish quickly.
We found a useful place for 21 Grading Grids for Popular Essays and the Position Paper at the kitchen table. It helped with giving our science time a clearer direction. A useful resource, though we needed to adapt more than we expected.
We found a useful place for 20th Century World History between our library visits. It helped with following up with a library book. We would recommend looking at the publisher’s sample before deciding.
We found a useful place for Canada Map in our morning learning block. It helped with comparing familiar and unfamiliar environments. For us, the value was in returning to it regularly.
We found a useful place for Art and design KS2 alongside a weekly co-op. It helped with giving a creative session a starting point. We liked the direction it gave us while leaving room to add our own ideas.
We found a useful place for Abracadabra Woodwind - Abracadabra Clarinet: The way to learn through songs and tunes during a quiet afternoon session. It helped with connecting listening and discussion. We would keep it in our regular rotation.
We found a useful place for A Reason For Handwriting Letter Introduction as part of our home learning routine. It helped with focusing on one writing goal at a time. It gave us a useful starting point, and we adapted the pace.
