We enjoyed using Art of Problem Solving Precalculus at the kitchen table. It helped with giving a creative session a starting point. A useful resource, though we needed to adapt more than we expected.

We enjoyed using Abracadabra Woodwind - Abracadabra Saxophone: The way to learn through songs and tunes between our library visits. It helped with connecting listening and discussion. It gave us a useful starting point, and we adapted the pace.

We enjoyed using A Reason for Handwriting Manuscript in our morning learning block. It helped with focusing on one writing goal at a time. We would use it again alongside the resources we already enjoy.

We enjoyed using Collins 11+ Practice - 11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning Complete Revision, Practice & for CEM: For the 2026 CEM alongside a weekly co-op. It helped with building a little more independence. It worked best when we kept sessions short and consistent.

We enjoyed using Canadian French Art Ideas during a quiet afternoon session. It helped with noticing progress a little at a time. We liked having a resource to return to instead of starting from scratch.
We enjoyed using 11+ English Rapid Tests as part of our home learning routine. It helped with making room for more than one way to solve a problem. We made room for extra discussion rather than trying to finish quickly.

We enjoyed using A Christmas Carol when we wanted a change of pace. It helped with balancing practice with books we enjoy. It was a welcome addition, though we still adjusted it to suit our week.

We enjoyed using A Level Biology (UK) on the days we learned together. It helped with giving our science time a clearer direction. We would recommend looking at the publisher’s sample before deciding.

We enjoyed using A Concise History of the American Republic during a shorter school week. It helped with following up with a library book. For us, the value was in returning to it regularly.

We enjoyed using Carving the Coast in a small learning space. It helped with comparing familiar and unfamiliar environments. We liked the direction it gave us while leaving room to add our own ideas.
